Bro. Sid Ree, pastor of Unity Missionary Baptist Church, spent his early life on a small cattle ranch near the little town of Spiro in eastern Oklahoma being brought up by wonderful Godly parents. Bro. Sid has a most wonderful family including his wife Charlotte and their four children: Sydnee and her husband Steven and their boys Tate and Dax; Wesley and his wife Tara and boys Kizer and Charlie; Aaron and his wife Brandy and their kids Bella, Blaze, and Brodie; Seth and his wife Melissa and their son Griffin. God has blessed Bro. Sid greatly with his wonderful family. Growing up Bro. Sid attended a Missionary Baptist Church where he was saved and baptized as a teen. He surrendered to God’s call to preach when he was twenty-three years old; he pastored a couple of small rural churches in the area before moving to Little Rock, Arkansas in the fall of 1986 to attend the Missionary Baptist Seminary. Four years later in the spring of 1990, Bro. Sid graduated from the seminary with a Bachelor of Theology degree. That same summer he accepted the call to pastor Hatley Missionary Baptist Church in Hatley, Mississippi. He continued as pastor there for just over five years and was then called to pastor Unity Missionary Baptist Church here in Fort Smith in June, 1995. Bro. Ree enjoys time with his family and considers it a joy to serve the Lord and His people as pastor of Unity Missionary Baptist Church.
